Maximus Mamakoko

Maximus Mamakoko, 28, uses music to give a voice to the people in the community of Great Brak River who need it the most.

He is passionate about the young people in his community being given their chance to be successful, and gives them an opportunity to do so through lessons in music, studio recording and making of music videos.

This all takes place at the Great Break Youth Cafe, an initiative to look after the young people in the Great Brak community. The café aims to give them a safe environment to learn and be nurtured in whatever they are passionate about.

Max is a driven young individual, who works extremely hard in using the arts to bring a sense of peace and hope to those who need it desperately.
