Nomcebo Yaka, 27, founded Hope to Infinity, a non-profit organisation that collects old clothes, school shoes and food for the needy.

Hope to Infinity’s main projects take place in Tembisa, a township north of Kempton Park, where it helps pupils through mentorship, after-school classes and career planning.

In 2018, its school shoe drive saw over a hundred pairs of shoes donated to needy pupils.

Nomcebo said she founded Hope to Infinity at the age of 22 because she was unable to help the needy on her own and therefore required a network of volunteers.
