Shabangu Ntji

Shabangu Ntji, 29, from Pretoria dabbles between veterinary science research and robotics.

Her passion for community building through cultivation of the human resource stems from her involvement in teaching robotics and coding to disadvantaged learners at Tsako-Thabo Secondary School in Mamelodi township.

She is preparing to start her PhD in Robotics Education at the University of Pretoria and had taken it upon herself to establish a pedagogical framework for robotics as proposed by the Department of Basic Education.

Shabangu is the recipient of the World Association for the Advancement of Veterinary Parasitiology scholarship.
